Rachel DeMita is a basketball host, commentator and creator based in Los Angeles, California, and originally from Akron, Ohio.
She played college basketball at Old Dominion University on a Division I scholarship before leaving the sport during her freshman season and transferring to American University to study media.
From 2014 she hosted NBA 2KTV, the in-game show for Take-Two's NBA 2K series, interviewing the league's biggest names. She announced her departure in November 2018; her final episode featured Kemba Walker. That September she had signed a talent deal with the sports-media startup Overtime — its first external talent deal.
She launched Courtside Club in 2022. Season one ran on ESPN platforms; she then took the show back to her own YouTube channel, fully owned, and turned it into a solo NBA and WNBA show. In June 2024 she joined the BIG3 as courtside commentator for its CBS broadcasts, a role that ended in June 2025. In January 2026 she agreed a licensing deal bringing the Courtside Club YouTube and podcast feeds to SiriusXM.
